Random Summer Craftiness: Hobo Bag

I had a day relaxing out by my kiddy pool (I don't have kids) on my deck, with Jessica, when we decided to go to Wal-mart. Our plan was to buy spray paint for some mail holders she wanted in her classroom. We ended up in the fabric section, and thats when we decided to make a purse. This was my 2nd project on my sewing machine and I am quite proud. She did all of the ironing. pinning. and most of the cutting.

Here is our result:
