Guest Room -Done!

Our guest room has been slowly coming along. It was the one room I didn't paint within the first week of moving in, and I am glad because I am not sure I would have gone with the color or the border stripe, and I really love both! Back in Jan/Feb I redid two side desks from my husband's office and figured I couldn't go wrong with painting them navy. The wall of frames I thought of this morning, bought the frames and spray paint, and finished this afternooon. One of those rare projects where everthing falls into place perfectly! I am excited to have some guests over and hopefully soon!

First DIY project: Frame

Of course I was soooo excited to spray paint, I forgot to take a true before picture. But it was a rusty gold. if you can imagine that. A Hillsville Fleamarket buy for $4.00. I bought it within the first 5 minutes of being there! I was looking for one because I just LOVED Michelle's idea, from
.
primed and ready for a splash of color!

I went with a satin navy Vaslpar from Lowe's

I can't decide where to put it, but for now it is on a shelf in my master bath. I also can't decide what to put in the frame, but I like it empty for now .  Shelf pics to come soon!
